Ohenewaa Afriyie Takyiwaa Boakye is a dynamic education administrator and NGO leader dedicated to advancing literacy, youth empowerment, and gender equity in Ghana. Currently serving as the Director of Literacy 4 Life (L4L) and Secretary & Administrator at Prempeh Academy, she brings a wealth of expertise in strategic planning, curriculum development, and large-scale project management.
At L4L, Ohenewaa provides strategic oversight for integrated programs spanning STEAM, TVET, and women’s empowerment. She is instrumental in managing donor relations and implementing rigorous Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) systems to ensure initiatives remain community-driven and aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Her dual role at Prempeh Academy further highlights her proficiency in institutional governance, where she serves as a vital liaison between management, staff, and external stakeholders.
Ohenewaa holds a background in Adult Education and Sociology from the University of Ghana, Legon. Her mission is to create inclusive pathways from literacy to livelihood, blending innovation with integrity to empower learners and vulnerable groups. By aligning local educational initiatives with global standards, she continues to be a transformative force in Ghana’s development sector.
